Comedic great, George Carlin, is dead at 71. One of his most famous bits, which sparked a Supreme Court case, was the 7 words you can't say on television--which I believe is outdated today--as some of these words are now acceptable.

Although at our house, he is probably best known for playing Mr. Conductor on the late 80s/early 90s childrens show, Shining Time Station. (The early version of Thomas and Friends)

He did satire more then comedy, but, he was funny. He is one of the few stand up comedians who could.

Sad he had such a bad heart, he will be missed.
