Well I was bored so I was researching random crap for fun.... So here are some of my findings:
Which are the highest mountains in North America? Mount McKinley in Alaska rises 20,320 feet high.
Mount Logan in the Yukon Territory rises 19,551 feet high.
How much does an adult moose weigh? Males weigh 1,200 to 1,600 pounds, and females 800 to 1,300 pounds.
What is the smallest mammal in the world? It's Kitti's hog-nosed bat (also called bumblebee bat) from Thailand. It's only 1.2 inches long and weighs 0.07 ounces.
What was the Guano Islands Act? In the 1800s, bird droppings were valued as fertilizer. As a result, a U.S. law called the Guano Islands Act, passed on August 18, 1856, stated that if you're a U.S. citizen and come across a guano deposit on a rock, island, or key that doesn't belong to any country, you can claim it for the United States.
According to the Moon, when should you cut your hair to make it grow faster? During the waxing phase -- that is, when the Moon is between new and full.
Are new stars being formed, or did they all form at the same time? They are continually being formed. The Pleiades are an example of a group of newly formed stars. When the dinosaurs walked the Earth, the Pleiades did not exist.
What are some ways that people paid taxes in the past? In biblical times, taxes were paid with herbs such as anise, and in medieval Europe, people used honey to pay their taxes.
Have we always had Daylight Saving Time? In the United States, Daylight Saving Time was first begun on March 31, 1918, during World War I. This plan provided more light for the evening hours, thereby saving fuel for the war effort. Since then, Daylight Saving Time has been used on and off, with different start and end dates. Currently, Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday of March and ends at 2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November.
What is the most recent year that had a full Moon on February 29? This occurred most recently in 1972. This is indeed a rare event, since the next most recent year was 1820.

In the 1400's a law was set forth in England that a man was allowed to beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb. Hence we have 'the rule of thumb'
Many years ago in Scotland , a new game was invented. It was ruled 'Gentlemen Only...Ladies Forbidden'...and thus, the word GOLF entered into the English language.
